Hayl-
a young boy of only 14, has a tendency to be rude and act out , loves to fight with his superiors. Wants everybody to respect him but in return respects nobody else

Appearance-
Hayl is a strong young man who is very athletic; he has one brown eye and one all white eye that he keeps concealed using contacts. He has short back hair, and a scar on his forehead left from his cruel father's training.

Back story-
Hayl was born in the big city of Rayne, a city where trouble is always on your heels. Hayl did not particularly like Rayne, but it was his home and it's history of producing legendary fighters was one he was especially proud of. The greatest of these fighters being Axelle, a woman whose fighting style is based on elegancy and precision, the complete opposite of Hayl's pure brawling fighting style.
Hayl's father was an extremely merciless soul named Evron. At the age of four Evron began Hayl's extensive training, focusing on strength and overwhelming power. Evron went to the highest possible extents to make sure that Hayl was a great warrior who was feared by all, a dream that Evron once had until Axelle crushed it under her foot.
For years the beatings that Evron would give Hayl when he was "not good enough" continued. Every day countless punches, countless kicks, and countless cracks of the whip would be heard throughout the house. This was not the life that Hayl's mother imagined for her one and only son and the heir Amun-ra's throne, the all white eye being the indicator of this, though he does not find out until the middle of the book his mom knew throughout the whole time. His father has yet to find out.
At the age of nine his mother gives him a message, to leave Rayne as soon as possible and look for a new teacher. This is because she has foreseen the impending doom that was to befall Rayne, a gift given to her from Amun-ra, five years later. That night Hayl packs up and leaves not knowing the reason his mother told him to get out.
Five years passes by on the search to find a new master, throughout this journey Hayl uses his fighting ability to get money going from a mugger to a professional in an underground ring of fighters. That is until he loses to Ryutaro and is thrown out. Soon after he becomes a street beggar this is until he finds out that his Rayne had been destroyed. Then he meets his master (not to be named.) After this he finds his mothers true intentions. Promising to avenge her, he begins training once again.

Ryutaro-
a young boy a little older than Hayl and for the moment considerably more powerful. He is an adopted member of Shimazu clan who had been under the master's tutelage for a little over a year ever since his quest to find his true love first began. He's an asshole snob who looks down on people like Hayl, especially after he beat Hayl in the underground fighting circuit. He prefers to use the martial arts as to just fighting. Thus when it came time to create his own style he melded together every style he knew and formed EDC (Extreme Dragon Combat)

Appearance-
Ryutaro is an American boy with medium length black hair that has a red streak that runs down it. On his face he has he clans symbol tattooed under his right eye. This indicates to other members that he is a warrior and one to be feared.

Back Story-
Ryutaro comes from a Japanese town on the outskirts of Kyoto, though he is not Japanese. At birth he was an orphan but was soon adopted and given the Ryutaro, meaning son of big dragon. This is because he is the son of the legendary warrior Ryu who died in battle shortly after Ryutaro was born. Much like Hayl, Ryutaro began training at the age of 4 under his brother Takamasa. He studied styles such as Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, and Jeet Kun Do.
His upbringing was nothing like Hayl's. His wealthy family controlled all of southern Japan at one time. Takamasa was the complete opposite of Evron, mainly because Ryutaro never needed such harsh pushes to keep in line and achieve greatness, he was a true natural ever since he had began. Training was never over for Ryutaro because he never wanted it to be, instead of being pushed to the limit, he pushed himself to the limit and beyond. Ryutaro's philosophy was that fear and respect went hand in hand, and that he was always to be respected by everyone. (You don't even want to see what happened to the last person that called him Gaijin.)
Ryutaro is usually cold to everyone he knows but there is one person who he treats with the proper respect and that one person was said to not have existed. She was the Xiulan, a mythical princess who was said to have saved all of Japan in her journeys.
When Ryutaro was at the age 8, the family's reign fell apart as fighting within the group erupted. It fell fast and hard with no signs of revival. This was where Ryutaro came in. Knowing that Ryutaro was the strongest of the clan it was his duty to the clan to journey out and spread the fear of the Shimazu clan. Ryutaro saw this as an opportunity to find his love Xiulan and prove that she exists. He leaves with only a handful of determination, and a heart full of love.

Axelle-
Axelle is a humble girl of about 20 who is obsessed with elegance. Becauseof her start she takes nothing for granted and uses all resources available to get what she wants,though that is not quite known at the time.She is rather well off because of her fighting skills and the way she used it to obtain money. She is rather mysterious and always seems to be running from someone. She is taking in protégés but only in special cases. She seems to be building an army of sorts.


Appearance-
Axelle’s appearance varies from time to time in fear of being found by THEM, whoever THEY are. When she is first found, she is wearing her Goth outfit, though it disgusts her. It consists of chained pants, a spike choker, and a t-shirt with a print ofsome band that Axelle can’t stand.

Back story-
Though Axelle is obsessed with elegance, her beginnings were less than so. Her father was a huge drunk and her mother was a drug addict. Nevertheless, growing up in the slums of Rayne she knew she had to be tough. Self-trained and self-motivated Axelle quickly became great at what she did, her style being fluent and elegant yet devastating and destructive. The perfect combination.
She perfected her craft and then went on to fight for money, the most notable of her fights being against some loser named Evron where she caused him to have a emotional breakdown by beating him so quickly.
